At Thetford I designed new functional subassemblies for two new portable toilet concepts. I also created the production drawings. The tooling was outsourced in China, along with the assembly line. Close commu-nication with the supplier was crucial. Before the start of production I made several trips to China to ensure the quality of the plastic parts was sufficient and to help improve the assembly line. |
